ROBOTICS AND AERIAL DRONES

WHO WE ARE
WHO WE ARE
UA-RAD is a student led engineering club at the University of Alberta dedicated to pushing the limits of FPV (First-Person View) drone technology. We design, build, and fly custom high performance drones, with our current focus being on building a humanitarian drone system.
OUR MISSION
At UA-RAD, we bring together students who are passionate about using drone technology to solve real humanitarian challenges. Our goal is to design and build an aid-delivery aircraft capable of operating in areas of need, giving members hands-on experience with engineering requirements, safety constraints, and mission-critical design. Our team is focused on creating a reliable platform for delivering essential supplies where they're needed most.

Humanitarian Impact. UA-RAD is committed to advancing drone technology for real-world relief efforts, developing systems capable of delivering essential supplies in conflict zones and disaster-affected regions.
Hands-On Innovation. From carbon fiber frames to real-time video systems, our team builds and tests custom drones using skills in engineering, coding, and design.
Team-Driven Projects. With members from multiple faculties, we work together on creative drone solutions for challenges faced in any drone project.
